Fields
Create and update your form post instructions and required field validations directly in the VEGA UI.
- Add fields, posting parameter, field label, and dropdown values.
- Set which fields are required for lead posting.
- This screen directly feeds the form post instructions that are visible to vendors when they login. Updates made here immediately show for your vendors.
Adding New Fields
- At the bottom of the field listing, select Add field.
- Custom drop-down will be pre-selected, just expand the dropdown and select the type of field you'd like to add.
- Add the posting parameter to the Name text box and the field label in the text box Question Text.
- Check the Required? checkbox if this field will be necessary for vendors to post leads to VEGA, uncheck the box if it is optional.
- It's recommended that when adding a new field, disable the Required? checkbox to avoid leads being rejected prior to vendors being able to add the field.
- For Custom drop-down fields you'll be shown a secondary listing where you'll enter the labels to display in the field dropdown along with the values to be posted to VEGA.Once you've added your field(s), you can click Save at the bottom of the list.
